EGGZ: THE BIRDGANG LTD YOUTH COMPANY
EGGZ is a collective of exceptional young people aged 13-18.
The youth company was born in 2021 from a partnership between BirdGang Ltd, an award-winning UK creative company and The Croydon Creative Collective (C3) funded by Arts Council England’s Youth Performance Partnership Fund.
Led by their Artistic Director Simeon “KARDINAL” Campbell, the youth company has developed a very unique movement style grounded in Hip Hop art forms and BirdGang’s striking movement imagery. Coming together for weekly classes at Stanley Arts, with opportunities to shadow professionals in the industry and receive 1-2-1 mentorship by BirdGang’s senior Flock members, the youth company are sharpening their tools, creativity and voice.
EGGZ have performed at venues such as Fairfield Halls for the Youth Arts Festival, a curtain raiser for COMMONS Festival at Stanley Arts as well as platforms around the UK.
